Background

AORecon—Joint preservation and replacement

AORecon is a global network of orthopedic surgeons delivering best-in-class education in joint preservation and replacement.

AORecon was established in 2014 by the AO Foundation, responding to rising numbers of arthroplasty and periprosthetic fracture cases and the increased need for specialized education and expert advice in this field.

With its focus on joint arthroplasty, AORecon has become an integral part of the AO Foundation, supporting its mission of promoting excellence in patient care and outcomes in trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.
